NDIKANDIÍ · MASSAGE GLOSSARY

Aromatherapy

A closer look at essential oils, sensory wellbeing and their place in your massage.

What is aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy uses plant-derived essential oils as a complementary approach. In a massage, fragrance can be part of the sensory setting, alongside touch, music and a comfortable space.

At NDIKANDIÍ, you can share your scent preferences when requesting your session in Mexico City, Querétaro or Monterrey. The team will confirm what is suitable and available.

A long relationship with aromatic plants

The traditional use of aromatic plants is associated with cultures including Egypt, China and India. That history provides context for today’s practices; it does not by itself establish medical effectiveness.
